Customer terms

These are the terms that apply when you book a service with Gallions Reach. In plain UK English — protective, but not designed to trip you up.

About Gallions Reach

Gallions Reach is the resident platform for the Gallions Reach neighbourhood in London. We provide and arrange residential services — currently cleaning — for people who live in the buildings around Gallions Point.

Cleaning bookings

When you book a clean, you enter an agreement with Gallions Reach for the visit described in your confirmation. We match the booking to a trusted cleaner — sometimes directly employed, sometimes an approved partner.

Customer responsibilities

Please make sure your booking details, address and access instructions are accurate. Before a clean, please remove or secure valuables, fragile items and confidential paperwork.

Access to property

You are responsible for arranging safe, legal access — keys, keysafe codes, concierge instructions or being home. If we cannot access the property on the scheduled visit, the booking may be charged in line with our refunds and cancellations policy.

Payments

Payment is taken online via Stripe when you book, unless a quote is required. Prices shown are estimates until the visit is completed; if the scope changes materially on the day we'll agree the adjustment with you before proceeding.

Cleaning standards

We aim for calm, thorough, considerate work. If any part of the clean falls short, tell us within 24 hours and we'll come back and correct it.

Damage and complaints

Please report any concern within 24 hours of the visit via our damage report form. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, ordinary wear and tear, or damage caused by inherently unsafe or unsuitable surfaces (e.g. loose fixings, unstable shelving, degraded finishes).

Photos and evidence

Cleaners may take before/after photos to document the state of the property. These are stored securely and used only for quality assurance and dispute resolution.

Limitations of liability

Our liability is limited to the value of the booking, except where UK law imposes a higher standard (for example, we do not exclude liability for death, personal injury caused by our negligence, or fraud).

Subcontractors and service providers

We may fulfil bookings through vetted service partners. All partners are required to meet our standards of insurance, training and conduct.
